Responsibilities


As part of the Know Your Partner (KYP) project within KYU, the KYP Analyst will perform activities meant to analyze and check conformity and risk for SG Group partners in scope

KYP consists in extensive due diligence measures carried out on partners that are beneficiaries of funds originating from Société Générale, in the framework of patronage convention or a sponsoring contract. The main objective of the KYP activity is to assess that these partners are acceptable in terms of reputation and comply with the Société Générale Group standards

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze client profile and information as per procedure, in order to ensure the global quality of the KYP files according to the compliance rules

  • Analyze existing documents and collect client information from the public sources

  • Liaise with client representatives for further documents, information and confirmation required

  • Perform name screening and background checks. Carry out searches, assess the results and advise on potential compliance issues

  • Performs periodic compliance checks in order to monitor and verify compliance with legal provisions

  • Reports compliance risks identified according to the legal framework

  • Keep track of all non-compliant partners files and follows-up on their remediation

  • Input client's data and upload documents into KYP system

  • Be autonomous in interpreting procedures on a case-by-case basis, diverge from the fixed process and apply exceptions independently

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of client due diligence requirements

  • Coordinate with other stakeholders across the Group on KYC queries

  • Actively participate in process-related topics together with stakeholders, provide inputs and suggestions for process improvement.

  • Participate in meetings with clients/demo sessions/workshops & presentations/training sessions/change management sessions aimed to increase process quality and accuracy.

  • Engage in achieving operational KPI’s according to the business requirements.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, aiming to constantly improve and facilitate existing procedures and way of working

  • The scope of responsibilities for this role may be expanded as needed.

Profile required


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, banking, foreign languages or law.

  • French skills (min B2 level).

  • English skills (min B2 level).

  • Previous experience in KYC/AML/ due diligence in corporate or investment banking is a plus.

  • Experience in working in a client facing environment.

  • Exposure to process improvements best practices.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Meticulous attention to details and strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and team spirit, positive attitude.

  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of the team.

  • Highly analytical person with ability to identify risks and make decisions in regards to important information.

  • Hands on, with strong organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, time-sensitive and deadline-driven work environment.

  • Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management.

  • Flexibility to work across various KYU internal projects may be required from time-to-time.
