Your day to day:

Manage portfolio of projects concerning Voice Core information systems for GNED external customers (European Vodafone markets in responsibility: RO+HU) in order to assure the delivery in time and budget of the projects as per the client’s requirements.
The manager in this role coordinates the development of specific Voice Core information systems (R4 and IMS systems as defined by 3GPP: MSS/MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, DRA, MNP, SBC, CSCF, TAS) for external customers. He/she analyse and observe client requirements, establish priorities and deadlines, manages the project budget and resources to ensure the delivery is in line with the agreed plan and quality KPIs. He/she performs high level project management activities for a portfolio of projects and coordinates engineers involved in the design, engineering, testing and delivery of such Voice Core information systems for external clients (VF European markets). He/she manages people within the team, facilitates their development and ensures their best performance.

  • Manage Voice Core portfolio of projects related to information systems for external customers (R4 and IMS systems as defined by 3GPP: MSS/MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, DRA, MNP, SBC, CSCF, TAS) in order to ensure the business requirements are met for all projects inside the portfolio, including costs, timelines and agreed quality KPIs

  • Analyse client requirements and ensure that Voice Core products designed & delivered are matching the requirements and are aligned with the technology guidelines

  • Define the high level project plan and phasing in agreement with all parties involved, including the external client and the project sponsor

  • Perform risk & change management and establish priorities in order to ensure business requirements are met, manage the project budget and ensure a proper governance

  • Report project status to all stakeholders and ensure good communication within the team and with the main stakeholders, internal and external

  • Manage and coordinate people within the team, motivate, coach and develop department staff

  • Project plans and other project management documents like project charter, activity planning, resource planning, status report, risk log

  • Budget governance related documents

  • Presentations or documents with analysis results, guidelines, plans for development of specific Transmission & Transport information systems

  • Objectives and evaluations for managing people performance

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Good knowledge of the Voice Core information systems (R4 and IMS systems as defined by 3GPP: MSS/MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, DRA, MNP, SBC, CSCF, TAS)

  • Process & project management

  • Stakeholder management

  • Knowledge of technologies and protocols defined by 3GPP CS and IMS domain

  • Ability to work within virtual teams and interface with multi-national clients

  • Good understanding of the SW lifecycle: development, testing and acceptance, implementation, performance optimization and troubleshooting

  • University degree in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent

  • Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT
