Tools Architect

About this opportunity

We are looking for the Tools Architect who will own the RedBee Media tools set such as: Jira, Confluence, GIT, CMDB and be accountable for working with Stakeholders and Customers to develop a product vision that resolves our client's problems or meets business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have specific knowledge in the administration, development, and implementation of solutions for Ticket Management, Configuration Management and Software Repository Management.

What you will do

• Defining and implementing the tool's suite necessary for Ticket Management, Configuration Management and Software Repository Management.


• Define and implement customer-specific operational processes on the platforms under administration


• Defining requirements for the evolution of the tools under administration (software updates, implementation of new functionalities, integration with other products from company’s portfolio)


• Gathering functionality-related requirements from different stakeholders and integrating those requirements in the product


• Create and maintain a set of standards and templates for Jira & Confluence with the goal of providing guidance and standards to the engineering teams. The goal is to allow teams to be able to analyze bottlenecks in workflow and improve productivity.

• Release & Deployment Management Support


• Application Capacity & Performance Management


• 3rd Level applications support


• 3rd Level Support for Owned Applications


• Incident Resolution Support


• Workaround Analysis and Proposal


• Able to demonstrate experience supporting technical users and conduct requirements analysis


• Customizing JIRA projects with various issue types, schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes, SLA


• Installing and updating JIRA plug-in


• Troubleshooting Jira issues and providing timely support to users

You will bring

• Expert knowledge of Atlassian product suite

• JIRA


• Confluence


• Advanced knowledge in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc)


• Advanced Bash/Python scripting skills


• Experience writing automation scripts in SIL is a plus


• Cloud Platforms and Architecture knowledge


• AWS and CI/CD technologies knowledge


• Ansible, Cloud Formation, GIT, Jenkins


• Knowledge of Linux System administration


• REST API hands-on experience


• Relational and Non-Relational databases
