Sr. Packaging Designer will be responsible to develop accurate and compliant mechanical files for packaging designs, incorporating all required elements, mandatory and legal information, while maintaining brand quality and equity. This role collaboratively partners with other teams, maintaining close collaboration with marketing and commercial stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and ensure timely completion of all assigned packaging projects





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for building flat mechanical layouts and producing high quality renders, understanding, and upholding the visual ID of each of Molson Coors brands


• Review and verify flat mechanical files for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines


• Keeps up to date on changes in regulations and guidelines related to packaging artwork and communicates updates to the rest of the


• Troubleshooting any problems with the design team and following development timelines to ensure projects are completed on time


• Partner with wider Molson Coors Studio Services Team to refine design specifications and collaborating with designers, to define, update, and maintain Packaging Production team processes


• Provide improvement recommendations for Packaging Production process and execution


• Provides training and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Over 4 years proven experience in graphic design


• Direct experience with flat mechanical packaging artwork development


• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps


• Knowledge of pre-press, colour management and printing process


• Good ability to manage multiple projects, multitask and prioritize, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met


• Outstanding attention to details


• Very good stakeholder management skills


• Advanced English


• While not mandatory, prior experience with packaging graphic design with CPG company


• Experience with 3D/rendering software is an asset
Experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus
