This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Designer in our new Engineering Execution department in Bucharest. The role is accountable for the flow drafting needs of the local team as well as coordinating with other global engineering offices to support the development of engineering PFD/PID/MFD for worldwide customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Material Selection Diagrams, and various other technical drawings.
- Review PFD/PID/MFD to ensure adherence to quality and drafting specifications.
- Conduct internal and customer drawing review meetings.
- Collaborate with project team and global counterparts to understand and set project drafting requirements and ensure drafting resources are aligned to meet required schedule milestones
- Identify improvement opportunities as part of a continuous improvement mindset.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Associate degree in CAD applications or equivalent CAD drafting experience
- Proficiency in MicroStation or equivalent CAD software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam or equivalent drawing review/commenting software
WE VALUE
- Significant experience completing drafting/ design work
- Experience in the Petrochemical, Refining, and/or similar process industry
- Demonstrated ability to navigate, interpret, and communicate details via PFD/PID/MFD for various process technologies
- Working knowledge of industry drafting standards and typical flow drafting symbology for process industry equipment and piping
- Demonstrated ability to apply basic engineering/drafting principles to PFD/PID/MFD development
- Excellent organizational skills to develop and execute a work plan and balance multiple simultaneous project assignments
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Piping layout or other 3D modeling experience
