Accountant

Client Description:

Adecco is looking for its client, a Dutch multinational brewing company, one of the largest beer company in the world, for an Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the execution and delivery of end-to-end Record to Report accounting processes and Business Process Management activities in collaboration with the Shared Service Center, ensuring data quality and process compliance while at the same time driving standard, lean processes;

• Manage the delivery and execution of end-to-end period end close activities in line with close calendar, liaising with internal stakeholders as required to ensure accounting information is complete, accurate and timely;

• Acting as an escalation point to help solve complex issues, gather commentary and insights for statutory reporting as required and ensuring financial reporting is in line with global policies, procedures and accounting standards;

• Manage effective and rigorous controls to ensure full compliance with policies, procedures for Group and Local Accounting standards;

• Drive data quality - review master data, transactional finance data and data model on a regular basis to ensure it is up to date, accurate and compliant with the global guidelines for respective OpCo;

• Identify issues in data quality, perform root cause analysis in a timely manner;

• Provide advice and insights on Local Accounting matters (i.e. local standard changes, consolidation changes);

• Execute Record to Report and BPM activities (i.e. preparation of specific manual journal entries, SCOA requests, reviews of cash forecast, financial and business analysis);

• Manage/lead the delivery and implementation of continuous improvements across processes, tools, templates and systems in collaboration with Global Finance and HGSS Transactional Services and CoE towards the company's standards;

Candidate Profile:

• 
  Minimum 3 years’ experience within Finance Accounting;

• 
  B.A. in Accounting or Finance;

• 
  IFRS knowledge - a plus;

• 
  Strong analytical and accounting skills, problem solving, attention to details;

• 
  Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team and other

organizational departments;

• 
  Ability to multi-task and attention to details;

• 
  Advanced level of English;

• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook);
