Role and Responsibilities
As a Purchase to Pay Subject Matter Expert, you will:
Drive process standardization across scope transferred, act as change agent in the Subsidiaries under supervision of AP Regional Process Owner and/or Head of Finance
Ensure process changes are being implemented consistently across subsidiaries, InHouse and BPO; map new processes, SOPs and Process Maps in agreement with AP Regional Process Owner
Identify areas where additional scope can be transferred and support migration
Support system rollouts: advise on process related aspects/needs when IT projects are implemented in the respective process areas;
Provide user accesses, solving various system-related issues, approving authorizations based on requests received from InHouse / BPO
Analyze metrics where there is frequent SLA miss and review and advise on improvement action plan prepared by BPO
Prioritize initiatives designed to improve metrics, review progress and sign-off closure
Lead and / or Supervise AP Process Improvement projects and ensure appropriate internal communication in terms of goals and milestones with Team Leads, Subsidiaries (local/InHouse) and / or BPO
Report periodically to AP Regional Process Owner the status of initiatives driven
Review periodically feedback from Subsidiaries with respect to team performance and initiate actions to address concerns
Get involved in resolving major process challenges, especially where the process has to go for an overhaul, or if there are big knowledge gaps identified
Work together with Management team to set-up robust control environment
Skills and Qualifications
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Management/Finance/Accounting or related field
Min 3 years of experience in Finance
In-depth knowledge of SAP, Excel and AP processes (procurement would be a plus)
Highly motivated, reliable, self-reliant, good problem solver, solution orientation
High attention to details, used to work in ambiguous environments with volatile information
Good persuasion/negotiation skills, excellent time management skills
Resilient, able to work under pressure
Good presentation skills, able to adapt to different audiences
Project management experience is an advantage
Lean/Six Sigma of other quality management experience would be an advantage
