ROLE SUMMARY: LSEG and Microsoft have entered an exciting strategic partnership for the development of next-generation data, analytics and cloud infrastructure solutions. Our customers' needs are evolving and so are financial markets. This partnership will transform the way customers discover, analyse and trade securities around the world. It will also advance our cloud strategy and build the improved resilience, efficiency and agility that our customers need. All of Microsoft's customers will also have access to our data and analytics capabilities through a single flexible infrastructure that is intuitive and responsive. If you are interested in being a part of this dynamic strategic partnership, we look forward to considering your skills and experience. Would you like to be a pivotal part of an emerging programme which will transform the way we work- This role sits at the heart of the Foundation build and App Migrations on the LSEG/ Microsoft Partnership. The Senior Associate/ Associate, Programme Support is responsible for facilitating a broad range of transformation governance functions that are essential to the successful delivery of the LSEG/ Microsoft partnership. Working in the Transformation Governance squad, you will work alongside people who have responsibility for adjacent areas: - Transformation PMO - Programme Financial Support So, what does that mean- Your day-to-day activities will vary dramatically; you will work with colleagues in Transformation Governance as well as people from neighbouring squads in the Cloud Migration Office. This will include Finance, People/HR, Procurement, Onboarding, Risk, Comms and, of course, the teams building the foundation landing zones and those working to migrate our application estate to the Azure cloud. Our programme leadership team comprises executives from both LSEG and Microsoft. The convergence of Big Tech and Financial Markets Infrastructure means our executive reporting requirements are evolving rapidly. To meet these changing demands, we need people who are eloquent, dynamic, empathetic, organised, fast-thinking, flexible and adaptable. You are the glue who helps keep this together and ensures that the leadership team are clear on where we are, what we need and where we are going. This role forms part of a larger global team, so you will have peers and will be part of a community of Transformation experts who support and rely on one another. Bringing your organisational, communication and relationship skills to bear, you will help ensure the success of the LSEG/ Microsoft partnership. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Programme Support: o Administering LSEG's Programme and Project Management (PPM) tool for resources assigned to charge time to programme Clarity codes (e.g. user creation, task assignment, reporting etc) o Reconciling forecasts in Excel-based Resource Tracker to resource bookings in PPM o Driving hygiene around time charging by assigned resources (i.e. comms and chase to ensure timely and accurate timesheet submission, following-up on anomalous time charging etc) o Administering calendar invites for large-scale meetings and ceremonies o Facilitating key operational ceremonies o Following-up with pillar PMOs to complete routine/ recurring tasks o Supporting colleagues across the Transformation Governance squad to achieve operational resilience. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: o A structured, methodical approach is essential. Like any major transformation initiative, the programme is constantly evolving and changing quickly. You must be able to stay abreast of change and respond accordingly. o An ability to work with a wide variety of people is vital. We will be working with people from several 3rd party companies as well as teams from across LSEG, both within Technology and beyond. o An upbeat, cheerful disposition always helps. It's important to be able to lighten the mood and have some fun along the way. o Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. High quality output is expected at this level; the migration team publishes material for consumption by senior members of both LSEG and Microsoft. Presentation counts! o A willingness to collaborate and explore new ideas and concepts. This is an evolving programme and the answers you need may not always be available - you might need to help create them! o You've done this before (or something similar) - and understand that greenfield migrations aren't straightforward - but that is part of what makes this an incredibly interesting and rewarding role.
